Sara Razai joined ICPR as a post-doctoral Research Associate of the AHRC-funded project, Judging Values and Participation in Mental Capacity Law. She is an interdisciplinary and empirical researcher with research expertise on judicial studies. Other areas of Sara’s work explore courts and judges in the Arab Middle East and their significance in the wider society.
Sara is also a member at the UCL Judicial Institute where she completed her PhD in 2019. She is currently the Programme Director for Access to Justice at the Paris-based Institute for Law and Justice in Arab Societies, (IEDJA). Previously, Sara taught and convened the Law in Action course at UCL and International Human Rights Law at Surrey University.
