Improving Care Proceedings report published by ICPR

Improving Care Proceedings: ‘There was so much said about me that I didn’t get to answer for myself’ Alexandra Murray, Gillian Hunter and Jessica Jacobson.

ICPR has published a report detailing the findings of a research project on experiences of care proceedings funded by the Department for Education. The research aimed to ensure that the voices of parents, kinship carers and young people involved in care proceedings are central to the discussions about public law reform. The research was commissioned to support the ongoing work of the Care Proceedings Reform Group (CPRG), which was set up to consider how care proceedings could be improved for those involved in them. The CPRG is a sub-group of the Public Law Working Group.
