Work conducted under this theme includes studies of the treatment of women in criminal justice and specialist provision for women offenders; research into sex work and its relationship to drug misuse; evaluations of responses to domestic abuse; and assessments of the extent of differential treatment of, and outcomes for, black and minority ethnic groups within the criminal justice system.
